Johnstone Oil Gloss is a professional, premium quality, alkyd based gloss formulated for interior and exterior use on wood and metal surfaces. It provides a durable, high gloss finish with excellent opacity. For best results use over either Johnstone’s Professional Undercoat or quick drying Aqua Water Based Undercoat.
Before using Johnstone Oil Gloss ensure all surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry, and free from loose and flaking material. Prime bare surfaces with the appropriate Johnstone’s Primer. Rub down previously painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly before applying a pre-coat of Johnstone’s Professional Undercoat (VOC compliant). Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.
